If you’re searching for Miniature Poodle puppies who are truly part of the family from day one, you’ve come to the right place.
Here at Miniature Poodle Puppies WA, (AKA BeeJay Poodles) in Washington state, our Miniature Poodle puppies aren’t raised in kennels or barns. They’re born and raised right in the heart of our home—our living room—surrounded by everyday life, people, and plenty of love. Our dogs aren’t just pets; they’re our family members, and we’re more like their loyal staff!
Meet the Parents – Tirzah & Pedro
Our parent dogs don’t live out back or get rotated through kennels. They claim the couch, watch TV with us, and “supervise” everything that goes on in the house. Each of our breeding dogs is raised to be confident, friendly, and deeply bonded to people—and they pass that temperament on to their puppies.
Tirzah is our stunning red Miniature Poodle and the mama-to-be. She’s got a sweet middle-of-the-pack personality and is happy curled up in your lap. She’s also smart, playful, and athletic—she would have made a brilliant agility dog if I were up for the running! She’s the kind of dog who knows when to be goofy and when to just chill with her people.
Pedro, the proud papa, is a handsome phantom Miniature Poodle. He’s the social butterfly type—friendly with everyone he meets, always ready to say hello. His owner tells me he’s incredibly smart and loves nothing more than hanging out with his humans. While he’s still too young for OFA health testing, his parents have excellent results, and his DNA panel came back clear.
We’re expecting a litter from Tirzah and Pedro in early October 2025, and while I’m hoping for a few phantom pups, most likely there will be reds and apricots—and full of personality either way.
For Miniature Poodle Puppies Raised With Purpose—and Puppy Culture
From day one, our Miniature Poodle puppies are raised using the Puppy Culture protocol. That means they’re introduced early to gentle handling, age-appropriate challenges, and the foundations of confidence, problem-solving, and social skills. I’ve also recently started experimenting with scent work—a wonderful mental exercise for curious little noses.
They’ll learn the basics of puppy manners, get exposure to stairs and a doggy door, and be introduced to various toys, textures, and outdoor play. Our puppies grow up surrounded by adult dogs who help teach them the ropes—how to play appropriately, how to read body language, and how to be respectful little companions.
They spend part of their day in an x-pen for safety, but whenever I can watch them, they have the full run of the living room. Weather permitting, they also get supervised yard time, complete with toys and small obstacles for climbing and exploration. And once weaned, I start careful social outings to help build confidence without exposing them to unnecessary health risks.
Small Program, Big Heart
I typically have just 2–3 litters a year, and recently we’ve been in a bit of a puppy drought. But I’m hopeful this upcoming litter breaks the dry spell!
Because I live out in the country, in-person visits can be tricky—but I often meet families halfway, including at Portland Airport, and occasionally Seattle Airport if needed. I also offer flight nanny services for an additional fee, but I do not ship puppies cargo—their comfort and safety are too important.
